Laguna Mk3 Clutch not fully disengaging

Hi,



My Laguna (2008 model) doesn't seem to shift gears smoothly. It is as if the clutch is not fully disengaging or allowing a smooth shift between gears. Whilst the gears do not crunch, it is sometimes it is easier to double-clutch to get them to engage smoothly.



I was assuming the cutch cable between the pedal and the engine has stretched but Googling I cannot see if the car has one, or where it runs from or too. Rather than see prices for a cable everything comes up with a clutch switch???



Can someone guide me on this and if this is something I can look into as the car needs an MOT next month so I will need this looking at one way or another.
