Hello , I have a problem with my laguna 2.2 dci (2004).
It was really rainy these days , and few days ago I went to start my car with no luck. I suspected the battery was dead , but that's not the case. After few more tries and with full gas pedal it luckily turned on. It was all good for a day or so , but then the next day it just wouldn't start. Called a mechanic , he connected it to his computer and says fuel injection computer is malfunctioning.
Now i'm not sure whether or not that is the real problem (shouldn't it show that error on my dashboard?)
He says that to fix the fuel injection computer it will cost about 167 £ . Now my problem is , how will I know what he fixed exactly? I mean if he "fixed" the computer , how can I tell? For all I know it might as well be some easy-to-fix problem such as fuel filters or something. Any tips? Ever heard of the problem and was the repair so expensive?
