I just have bought a 54 reg Megane II 1.9 dCi 120hp with 140k on the clock a few weeks ago. The car was well looked after by the previous owner regularly serviced and etc. During the first 2 days the car was driving fine. Then I had the oil changed by Kwik Fit ( dont know how related is to the issue). On the next morining on the way to work (20 miles) the engine started to act strange.
It started to rattle when accelerating and when release the accelerator as well. When the accelerator is released you can hear a noise as there is air leak somewhere around the turbo pipes. And have rough idle from time to time.The loss of power can be felt as well but it is not major. The turbo still pulls well. And all that when it is warm only.
Checked them all, they are all in good conditions no leaks.
Then I have had the EGR cleaned and a glow plug changed. And the problem still remains. Any idea what it can be? Thanks in advance!
