Boot lock removalmegane coupe convertable

Hey, I have a megane coupe convertable 05 reg, my boot won't lock when I close, the striker bar at bottom all seems well, so have inspected the lock on the boot. It seems like the lock is not gripping the bar? If I use a screwdriver it seems to lock ok (then I press boot release to re open it), I have tried to take lock out and can not seem to find out hiw, I noticed 2 10mm bolts near to lock which I removed but lock does not wanna budge, so I'm guessing you have to take the boot liner out? If so how? Cheers
