I am seriously thinking of buying a Renault Captur although ,i must confess, i have ,as yet, not test driven one .For the money it seems to offer a lot and looks good too, but I was wondering what others thought of it or of Renault cars in general .Only say that because I have been warned a number of times against French cars in general because of perceived reliability issues especially with regards to electrics .
All the reviews I have read seem quite positive but thats not the same as actually owning one .This is not a car I shall be using to commute to work as by the time I buy it I shall be retired , so maybe about 6-8k miles a year would be an absolute maximum .
I have also considered a Dacia Sandero Stepway .I know they are part of the same Renault stable ,but my preferred choice is the Captur at this moment
