Hi, I have searched the forums and not found what I'm looking for. So maybe someone here can help me.
Is there an easy way to drain the fuel out of a Scenic Fuel Tank. I have a 52 plate 1.9 dci which recently the engine died on me and is going to cost too much to repair. I had also just filled up with diesel so I don't really want almost 10 gallons to go to waste.
I have tried a pipe into the filler, but there is an anti-syphon device. Can the fuel lines be disconnected and fuel drained that way? or can I gain access through the fuel sender?
Has anyone got experience of this?
