Grand Espace IV drivers side cold

Hi... I am having a problem with the heating system in my Grand Espace IV 3.0l DCi where the heater works fine on the passenger side but the drivers side is stone cold. I have found the two heating pipes that go to the matrix so I am assuming that the system that this model uses is one matrix and heat control by electric flaps. I really need to know if this is the case so I can use a diagnostic program, I was thinking DDT2000 with a VAG KKL cable which is on order, to tell me if the flaps are working.



Sorry for the length of this post as it is my first, but if someone could help I would be very grateful as the weather is now turning cold!!
