I have changed the engine on a 53 plate 1.2 16v clio, i am now having some problems, i had it running then all the fault code lights come on eg airbag, abs etc even power steering, i changed the battery as i thought it had died, i put a fault reader on the car it showed DF045 manifold pressure sensor circuit below min, DF157 battery voltage , short circuit to earth, DF208 upstream sensor signal input, short circuit to +12v.
After i cleared the codes all was good and the warning lights went out.
i gave the car to someone to drive and it later died and the same codes came back,it seems very lacking in battery power,
i am wondering if i have more than one problem or if all the codes are connected, when i removed the engine i unplugged the big fuses from the fuse box so the loom went with it but its all plugged in right.
I need to tow the car back then test the alternator output, has anyone any other ideas ?
