Hi all, I bought a van a few days ago and I drove back home (50 miles) perfectly fine, I could not fault the way it drove, however, the following morning I was going to go get the van washed and I was in second gear and I accelerated, and it just started to rev up with no movement as if the car was in neutral or the clutch was down and you are revving it.
It transpired that the van is driveable in 1st / 3rd / 5th and goes into reverse. But I can slot it into 2nd / 4th / 6th and it will just rev when I accelerate and not move.
Does this require a new gearbox or is it a simple fix? :confused:
Oh, btw, my van is a 2003 Nissan Primastar 1.9 DCI 100 SWB 6 Speed Manual with 110k.
