2005 Grand Scenic 1.6 Petrol won't start

Hi



My 2005 Renault Grand Scenic 1.6 Petrol decided not to start this morning. The central locking works, dash lights come on,headlights come on, it recognises the card, but when the start button is pressed, there are 3 clicks and then nothing.



Any ideas on what might be causing this is greatly appreciated
