My Story /symptoms/ Error codes
Just past mot wasn't sure it would have because had slight idle problem on tick over cutting out at times thought maybe because battery fairly flat or and o2 lamba sensor or injectors as using more fuel than should .but passed
:) .then went to top air up in tyres for two hundred miles journey left lights on low wouldn't start battery flat had que behind me and helpful people gave me a push and bump started now it was trying to cutt out in every gear if I let revs get low. I got to my destination thinking battery should be charged now when I stopped I hear the same ticking from canister and upon Starting up engine light flashing and really poor acceleration hardley any power dangerous to drive wouldn't go above 30 mph revs struggling to go over 4000 but very poor snail like . power train
I plugged into computer I got codes
P0300 power train random /multiple cylinder misfire detect
P0202 power train injector circuit cylinder 2
P0204 "" cylinder 4
P0201""cylinder1
Bought new coils it ran a little smoother managed to drive home100 miles max 60mph very slow to build up speed .plugged into computer again I got all the same codes but with added two more
P0314 powertrain single cylinder misfire ( cylinder not specified )
PO203 power train injector circuit cylinder 3
Now car is rough running on idle shaking engine about
I'm thinking canister possible relates to dirty throttle body but I cleaned mine last year I'm now venturing down how to test injectors also changing spark plugs and possible cleaning throttle body again any one know how to test injectors ?test sparks ?
