Crankshaft sensor resistance value please.

Hi, Basically I need to know what is the correct resistance for a crankshaft sensor, I'm getting 610 ohms, Ive just read through some posts and a value of 250 ohms has come up, do you know the correct value please, this vans now doing my head in.
