I have a fault with my car. It is a 2010 1.5cDi Megane with a 6-speed dual clutch transmission.
A red light saying "Check Anti-pollution system", engine light and spanner appears on my dash after a restart when the engine is warm.
I have taken the vehicle to Renault Lookers in Chester. So far I have spent £200 for nothing except they've given it the same software reset twice (I made the mistake of engaging with Renault UK - what a waste of space).
The only code they get from the ecu is a fault relating to Clutch One (pressure was mentioned or suspension summink?).
Does anyone know how an EDC transmission fault could cause an anti-pollution warning? How would the two be related? I thought the anti-pollutuion system was to do with the dpf?
BTW my car is doing +60mpg on the motorway at 60mph, the gears changes are smooth, so I would say it's mechanically doing what it's supposed to.
Yet the fault returns every time I reset with an OBD scanner.
