Fitting single electric towing to 2002 Laguna

Having recently purchased a 2002 Renault Laguna, I am now wishing to install a single electric towing system to the rear of the vehicle.



In the past I have done this on other vehicles by using the rear lights wiring with Scotch clips, and connecting in the pinned towing socket. If this method is still acceptable, or any alternative information for completing the job with satisfaction.
