Thought I'd say hello as I've just picked up a Megane. I've always been on the forum and always been between Renault's, but on checking my history I've been registered for 9-10 years, couldn't believe it.
Not sure if I ever did a hello post so this is it! I'm over in Northern Ireland, so a big wave to the Scottish members on the west coast I can see on a good day.
We've just picked up a 2005 Megane II 1.5 dCi 80 Dynamique Plus(+) 3dr. Not sure about the plus (+) as I can't see much about it. Guy advertised it as one and I'm thinking it's because it's fully colour coded and the centre bit of dash is same colour as the car.
We've always had Renault's, a 99 Clio 1.4 RT being my first after passing my test, then around 2004 when my wife picked up an identical Megane to what we've just bought and I bought another Clio. Fast forward to now and we've had a 2004 Scenic 1.9 dCi 120, 2007 Twingo and 2 other older Clio's.
So our latest purchase is more for economy as my wife has moved office. I was a bit worried regarding reliability but having had our last Megane hassle free and a good history on the new one including windows and keycard, we went for it.
Looking forward to getting back on the forum and picking brains.
