Megan 2011 Steering Wheel Illuminated Controls

Hi



I bought a 61 Megan Cabrolet 2 months ago and still can't see how to get the steering wheel control buttoms to light up. Also the control stick to the left for the radio, mobile etc. It's all in complete darkness. The center of the car where the sat nav is lights up and the dahsboard is fine. i have twiddled with the slide control to make these bright and dark, but the steering wheel and paddle with the phone and radio controls are still not lighting up.



Does anyone know what I am doing wrong ? Or are they just meant to be dark ?
