I'm currently driving a Renault Megane 1.6 53 plate. I've had issues with the electrics for over a year now resulting in no operational function in the rear electric windows, no 'water squirter' working front and rear but wipers ok and something often drains my battery if I don't use the car over the weekend, by Monday am it's dead. Had a new battery but the problem persists.
The car sometimes emits a high pitched noise upon locking with the key card and is possibly related but the car will still lock despite this. Today however I've encountered a brand new problem. My dash display tells me that I've a door open despite all tightly shut. I can't tell which door/doors as the dash shows all doors lit up. As a result of this door problem my central locking is being affected both when driving and when trying to lock it up.
Not sure if they are all the result of one problem/fault or a combo of things...arghh!
