I have a Renault Clio campus sport 1.2 16v 2006. It has been a relatively good car but now I'm experiencing problems with it.
The first issue is that when I get to 2000-3000 rpms the car will not go any faster even if my accelerator pedal is to the floor, after 5-10 seconds the car goes back to normal and acelerates. I often get this through 3th 4th and 5th gear. It has also started hunting when first started. There are a lot of posts about issues with the wiring loom box but my husband said that was with the previous Clio phase. He has changed various things mentioned in other posts such as the spark plugs, coil pack, throttle body, crank sensor and map sensor, the hunting seems to have gone but the aceleration issue is still there? Any other ideas? TIA
