I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction to fixing this problem:
I started my engine this morning. It was a cold morning. The engine didn't start in the normal way rather it coughed an spluttered into life with what I can only describe a clatter coming from the engine.
It didn't seem to have power straight away and while it was clattering. After a few blips of the throttle the clatter disappeared and the engine revved as normal. I drove the car to work, a mere 2 miles and parked up.
3.5 hours later I returned to my car and attempted to start it. The engine turned but it failed to start. The engine turned at 'normal' speed so it wasn't battery. after the forth attempt it stuttered as though it was about to start but didn't. Multiple attempts later and the battery gave up.
I have an ODBII reader but it fails to connect.
Anyone got any ideas?
