i recently bought an 06 laguna dci 130 with a blocked dpf.
it was so bad 1 of the sensor pipes had burst. i replaced the burst pipe and the car wouldnt tick over, dpf totally blocked. i had a forced regen done, it dropped the soot content to 5g. all good.
i took it on a motorway journey and after about 80 miles it went back into safe mode. again the soot content had gone up tu 65g, another forced regen and it went down to 2g soot content. i drove about 10 miles locally no probs, then 40 miles into a motorway journey it has gone back into safe mode, does a dpf have a lifespan or would something else be causing the repeated high soot content. the car has high mileage at 166k but other than this problem drives really well.
