2002 clio 1.4 16v timing

i had my cam belt changed recently was running well before hand now it misfires on idle the guy who changed it for me used the cam clamp and tdc pin. when he had finished he took out the tdc pin and it was bent, what im asking is will the bent pin cause my clio to be out of time and cause the misfire?
