Hello I took my 2005 Laguna II 1.9 DCI to local garage for rough engine running. They plugged it in and a code for the EGR came up - on closer inspection it was covered in oil and grime. They replaced it but the engine still runs rough. The only code now is "engine misfires" but the garage weren't sure what was causing it. Engine idles very roughly (whole car shakes about) low end power is pathetic and I often have to drop to a lower gear than usual at junctions/hills etc.. mid-top end power is fine. car still pulls ok there. I have tried unplugging the new EGR and it makes no difference. Not excessively smoking and MPG is fine. Any ideas??
