Hi! Just signed up as having problems with my 2008 Clio. Immediately felt unwelcome in this 'boys' club' when the offer of a privacy button advised me that

As I am 'the Wife' I was shocked at this casual sexism, though not totally surprised given that it's a French/Japanese company. However, the problem MY car is having is one I need to discuss with other people who may have had something similar so I have no choice (unless there's a separate forum for women)
I'm not young/naive and I believe that we have a right of free speech and normally accept that something like this is meant as a 'joke'. But if the motor industry has any wish to appeal to women (or gay, single or otherwise unattached men) then a company this large should think before putting something like this on its so-called welcome page!
