Alarm

Hi guys when I lock my car up (bottom button on key card)a high pitched noise comes from the rear of the vehicle lasting about 1-2 minutes is this normal ?? Secondly the alarm will go of for no apparent reason and has done now about 6 times since I bought the car two weeks ago any help on these matters would be much appreciated :( :(
