My 1.9dci has developed a slight and occasional 'blip' of dropping power, most noticeable in 1st but there in all gears I think. It is only occasional, but I might be pulling away and around 1500rpm I will get a little hesitation then it comes back on song half a second later.
Now I did have a sticky turbo actuator recently and I thought I'd fixed that, but I suppose it could be a little unreliable.
I'm thinking easy things first though - I changed the fuel filter and Haynes said to bleed air out by opening the top valve on the filter and pumping the priming bulb. I did this, but I could never seem to get all air bubbles to disappear from the fuel coming out (no big ones but a number of tiny ones mixed with the fuel).
Could the cause be an air bubble, and how can I ensure a proper bleed of the fuel system?
