Hi,
Firstly - I apologise if this is covered elsewhere, I've searched but can't find anything. I'll try to explain in as much detail as I can. Also, I apologise if this is the wrong section, I think it's right.
I've got a 2007 Clio 1.4 Dynamique, and it seems to have some problem with the electronics (I think).
When driving the car normally through the day, the wipers will not activate, unless they are activated when the indicator is indicating left. Once activated, they cannot be changed or altered again unless the indicator is at the left position.
The same problem goes for the lights. The lights on the car are on, permanently, (which I have no problem with really, it's certainly better than being off permanently), but the fog lights and the beam will only work then the indicator is in the 'left' position (i.e. the indicator stick is down).
From a completely non-technical viewpoint, it seems like there is some sort of cross in the wiring perhaps? Or something like this?
Any help would be vastly appreciated, I would love to know what the problem is and if it's fixable before I went to a garage!
Thanks in advance.
