Hi, last weekend the espace was giving an error like anti polution monitor, injection fault etc. obd gave a p0350, error ignition coil primary/secondary circuit, not pointing to any specific coil. Inspection showed a faulty air hose running from the large hose into a smaller hose. I fully replaced the intake hose because it was one part.
it was the little part where a small hose was running to the top of the engine.
however, that didn't fix the problem. Front coils are checked but no error found. rear coils are harder to check, would need to remove inlet manifold and replace gasket.. I was thinking maybe it's easier to first check the connections below the battery where the ecu resides...Is it also possible some air sensor is troubled? I don't have any problems with rough idle or mis fires (altough my wife was complaining about irregular engine sound...) I did have starting issues about a month ago but then I replaced starter engine (had 270k km on it so that's possible).. spark plugs have been replaced at 240k (30k km ago).
now it every times throws a stop error within the minute after starting..
if one coil is failing, does it throw the p0350, or a specific coil?
is a map sensor/throttlle body failure also possible because of the previous faulty air hose or should I really look into the rear coils or anywhere else?
