Hi, wondering if I could get any help on this.
I'll start from the beginning.
Bought a clio, went for MOT, failed on ball joint.
I removed the brakes, trying to get the ball joint replaced but ended up being stuck with one bolt. Caved and put it all back together. This is where the problems started.
The car won't start now, won't even try and turn over.
The stop light goes off, but the red LED next to it flashes quickly. I've tried holding in the button on the key with no joy. I should say, the central locking works fine.
when I turn the key, all I hear is a click, sounding as if it is coming from the fuse box. I've checked all the fuses and they're all fine.
Rang Renault who said I'd need a new key which is £200.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
