Hi all, had a problem with my Ren Master Dci100 today. The engine stop light came on and cut out as I was driving. I managed to coast to a safe place to stop and popped the bonnet to check if there was something obvious wrong. Couldn't find anything so thought I'd turn the key and see what happened. It started fine all the lights on the dash went out. It ran fine for about 15 miles and cut out again. Again I switched off immediately and stopped then restarted it whereupon it ran without problem for some miles again. This happened about 5 times today.
I had a friend plug in his diagnostic equipment and it came up with 2 faults.. DF061, a non working glow plug and DF072, pressure drop in gallery.
Can't see any leaks or air bubbles in the fuel line or leaks anywhere else. I have changed the fuel filter tonight in the hope that might do something.
Does anyone have any ideas what it might be?
It's a 55 plate 2.5TD DCi100 with about 100k on the clock
