Hello, I have Renault Clio 1.5 DCI, year 2002. 4 months ago they dismounted the dashboard to change the radiator because the antifreeze was leaking badly. Three days after this the problems begun. First the horn stopped working, then the FM radio unit started going crazy - it didn't change the stations, the joystick on the steering wheel stopped working. I was able to fix the problem only when I turn off and then on the car itself.
Then, three weeks ago everything went crazy:
- the car started losing power even though the gas pedal was pressed, and was stopping for a sec in the middle of the road (only when the car was still cool)
- the indicator for the outside temperature showed values up to 56 degrees Celsius,
- the clock was resetting itself
- the speedometer needle went crazy, once it was even "dancing" in the rhythm of the turn light signal,
The dashboard problems disappear when I turn off the car and then turn it on again.
