Hi, I have a 2005 clio 182 track car..I did a track day in November and since then has been sat in my garage with the battery kill switch off.
I have been out just after Christmas and fired it up which was all fine. I went out the other day to take it out and now the red immobiliser light stays constantly lit and won't start.
Very confused as the car hasn't moved! I have read endless threads on corrosion in the fuse box, relays, broken wires and re set procedures which I have tried and tried but no luck. I have tried my other key and another pick up ring. Checked all the continuity from the fuse box cables to the ecu, relays all have power and so does the ecu. Have checked the can bus wires to the uch box which are also fine.
I'm at a bit of a halt now and don't know where to turn next...could any one share their views? Possibly an earth strap?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
