DPF on 64 plate clio?

I have the 1.5 dCi clio and from what I can tell from the handbook (don't know anything about cars except witchcraft happens under the bonnet) it has a DPF and I have heard some horror stories about them and what can happen to them.

So where do I stand with this?

What are the usual problems that might occur?

And need they be an expensive problem?

And how can they be avoided?

I use the motorway regularly for work, but only for about 10 - 15 minutes at a time. Something which I am told helps maintain the DPF as long as youre between 2000 and 3000 revs for I dont know what distance or time but over 40mph?

So any info from someone who knows would be handy.

Thanks.
