new here, trying to solve a problem for a friend.
His 2003 Laguna 1.9Dci won't hold the key in as you try to start. So you have to push on the key card whilst you press the start button. I have concluded that it is the card reader thingy that needs replacing.
My question:
Is it ok to buy a used card reader of the same valeo part number, I am assuming that the ECU will not need to be reprogrammed as the key card will be the same?
