I bought a Pioneer car stereo some time ago to avail of USB and Line in (mp3 player). I was going to put it in my Megane. Some things i stumbled upon: difficulty with maintaining steering wheel remote control/ display function ( the latter not a big deal as the stereo has a display), the high price of special adapters to hook it up.
I do not want to spend another 40 euro. I might opt for the line in/aux cable instead. But then no remote control?
I like pots instead of +- controls, the Pioneer stereo itself is better, but don't want to be ripped off by overpriced adapters etc. Any advice?
