Hi everyone.
I have 2006 Renault scenic. Everything has been OK on it apart from a handbrake problem earlier in the year.
I came to use my car this morning. It unlocked fine, all lights on the dashboard but said key card not detected.
Changed the key card battery but still the same message.
Had to get my children to school and found a video on YouTube about putting a knife in the slot. I got home and disconnected the battery. Still the same.
Rang around and a key card repair is £30 and a new key is £200. Does anyone know if it sounds like its the key itself or the reader?
