megane 1500dci eletronic fault

hi,ive already posted this problem but ive done it in the engine section by mistake,this is probably the better option



megane 1500dci 03plate



stick card in reader,put foot on brake and press start button,steering unlocks and dash lights come on



service light on and immobilizer light flashes



electronic fault lights up on dashboard then says remove card.



under bonnet fuse-box looked a bit wet,took it out and dried it off,checked fuses ,no sign of any corrosion,replaced it and it made no difference



prior to removal i heard a buzzing/crackling from the black connector(furthest one to the rear)



do you think the uch/fusebox is fried,i did split it from the casing and i couldnt see any burn/scorchmarks
