I purchased a 51 plate Kangoo van yesterday. When buying, the chap mentioned that the fuel gauge is faulty. Essentially he said that the lowest the gauge will ever read is a quarter full, then after a while the light will come on and at that point he would refuel..
He seemed to think that the float on the sender unit may be stuck. Before I start taking the lining up to see, is there an easier check I could do?
