I have a Renault Grand Scenic (04-09) with only 5 seats installed and want to fit the 2 rear seats that are standard.
I've been ringing breakers to get quotes for the part but was warned off by one who said he's tried to do it before and it turned out to be a nightmare as he said the cutout in the floor of the chassis is different just behind the central seats (3, 4 & 5) between the 5 door and 7 door grand scenics.
Just for some additional information, in looking to install the complete frame that holds both rear seats, runners and sockets for 3 point seat-belts. I was under the impression initially that this should be fairly easily installed (bolts and screws)
Does anyone have any experience in doing this? Or know if there are fundamental issues with the modification due to differences between the 5 & 7 seat options.
