Recently my 2004 Scenic began to exhibit a slight knock or rattling sound. The mechanic diagnosed it as a tensioner failure, but it was time for the cam belt to be changed as well. He has quoted a total of 4 labour hours to install the cam belt kit as well as a new water pump. Can anyone tell me if that is a reasonable labour estimate for the work? I would appreciate any assistance from those with more knowledge of the process. Thank you.
